The idea for PLANT was born from a series of photographs by my photographer friend, Réka Raffay. She took a series of pictures of indoor plants for a photo study, and we had an idea to develop them further into typographic pages.

It was typical ‘00s, minimalist graphic design, and I have too, used bold colours and Helvetica as a helping tool to achieve visual simplicity, but I also intended to make it self-indulgent and design-centred, as I was interested in how indoor plants, as parts of an interior design can be applied to a two dimensional space.

It was featured as part of a Photography-Typography exhibition in the Contemporary Architecture Centre of Budapest, Hungary in 2009.
